Small Business Training for Women 2.15.21

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

I am delighted to inform you that the first batch of women's empowerment training went well. Let me apologize for the pictures. Some of the qualities are not quite as good as the previous year, so I decided to attach a lot of them so you have options. Also included is a short video of the training. Please play the video so you can hear my voice again after all these years.
Twenty women, including out-of-school girls and internally displaced adults, gathered at Murya, Nasarawa State, to learn how to make hair cream and Vaseline. They were also given seed capital to help them start their businesses.
The session began with a Bible study to provide a background for a holistic approach to the ministry of caring for the soul and body.
The community leader was represented by Rev. Moses Igboro, the resident minister of the Evangelical Reform Christian Church(ERCC) who also helps to dispense the cash.
After the training, it was agreed that monitoring and evaluation would begin at the end of March 2021. The goal of monitoring is to encourage participants to do business as a form of mission to their community.
The participants and I are very grateful for your generosity, without which the training would've been a reality. My appreciation goes to the SIFAT Graduate Project and the Board for providing a platform for me to execute the first batch of the project. I would like to express my gratitude to Rev. Benjamin Curlee and the entire First Baptist Church Lineville members for their partnership. I am supremely indebted to all of you who have given specifically to support my family. I am able to serve our community because you supported my family.
